Hell yes, didn't realize it was this soon. I always expect the seasons to trend downward but season 6 was one of my favorites. It's a shame this is the last (real) season
Are they continuing it after Steve Carrell leaves? Won't be the same without him, like Scrubs all over again (except they still managed to fuck that up).
They are, there's been rumors that either Rhys Darby (Murray from FoTC), Danny McBride, or Harvey Keitel will come on board for the next season.
Rhys Darby would be awesome; if you've seen Yes Man, you know he's capable of being just as much of an annoying boss as Steve Carrell.
If Danny McBride gets the job, he should play it EXACTLY like Kenny Powers. Ultimately though, I just hope they'll cancel the series after the season ends.
I DONT REMEMBER HOW LAST SEASON ENDED HOW DID LAST SEASON END
Holly might be coming back or something
dwight bought the building
idr either of those things
maybe you forgot to show up for the finale
premiere was subpar. I wasn't happy with it from the beginning.
Gripes with the premiere:
1. Erin and Gabe? No. Bullshit. Get rid of it now. Kill it with fire. Lots of it.
2. Michaels "counseling". I wonder if this is how they write his character out. Could be hilarious if they string the 6 sessions with Toby out over the whole season, but if this is how they write him out thats too quick and too easy a set-up. Saddened.
Not a *great* premiere...but not bad. The Jim and Pam "bickering" seemed a little contrived, but I think they're going to be able to do a lot more with Dwight owning the building that what was shown, so I have hope. The opening was funny at parts, but it would have been funnier if they explained who was filming it.
Edit: Also, Outsourced so far is just one big episode of "Diwali" from The Office. Wasn't this based on a short movie or something?
Creed's comment was also just "ok".
its based on a real indie movie that was somewhere between 90 and 120min long lol.
It was alright. Like Kirin; Not bad, not great.
The Kelley part during the meeting made me laugh more than I should have. The Toby and Michael pair has potential. I usually love scenes with them together.
Season started off pretty decently. Definitely not the best the office has been, but I still laughed so mission accomplished.
I read somewhere that they may be bringing Jan back...If so I can't fucking wait to see that episode because I know its gonna be good.
Agreed...but at the same time this show is all about awkwardness and there's nothing more awkward than seeing these two together...1. Erin and Gabe? No. Bullshit. Get rid of it now. Kill it with fire. Lots of it
Much better episode. Loved the cell phone picture of dwight.
Better than last week but still not quite up to par imo. I think the storylines have just been super weak so far.
Yeah, that was a pretty funny episode. When Michael realized what he was doing had me laughing pretty hard.
Is Kelly the new Creed? Not sure how I feel about that...but I'm not complaining...yet.
This Pam + Jim , animosity for lack of a better word, just doesn't seem to fit to me. Normally they're pretty good about slowly introducing storylines for them but this Office Manager stuff and their "money problems" just seems random.
For god sakes Novak, give yourself something to do on the show instead of just looking like a retard in those glasses. Get back into the destroying Jim plans you had with Dwight. His character is just wasted space that would be better used for Creed or Oscar (who is also sorely lacking in exposure so far, they did awesome stuff last year). I am disappoint, but a much better show than the premiere.
