Watching one of BG's videos I saw one of the PLDs in Valor body armor, I was just wondering if Valor is really useful. As a PLD I looked at a lot of info on the relic armor for my class, but so far people always say that it's not that great, and that the only peice thats really worth mentioning is the gloves, (Meanwhile it's possibly the greatest looking armor on the planet :wink: )

So what's the deal?

Depends on the way your LS tanks. Besides AF1 and Konieg Body, there is really not anything else to wear that is worthwile. Good luck getting one though, they don't exactly drop often.

Valor Surcoat is the best armor (that I have seen) for PLD/NIN.

besides being a great enmity piece, the enhanced cover converts 1/4 of the dmg you take from covering something into mp, YA LOLZ THAT SUCKS SO MUCH.

You asked a good question, but whoever you're talking to before is probably an allanewb.

The only af2 that sucks is the head, aegishjalmar is better.

Yeah for PLD/WAR or PLD/NIN the Valor Surcoat is better than almost anything out there. More Defense, HP and Enmity (Not much but meh) than Gallant Surcoat. If used properly I'm sure the AF2 Body Cover enhancement can be very nice.

You're nuts , this is a very common drop from dyna-xarc. RDM and BLM however, do not exist. Neither does WAR >_>

There's at least 8 NA with pld af2 body on my server.

Man, my Dyna-Xarc LS has had more RDM and THF drop than anything, at least runs I can make... I think PLD is the only AF that hasn't dropped there, but like 4 RDM hats and at least 5 THF hands.

Relic is not Koenig, Relic is a name specifically given to the armor that drops in Dynamis along the lines of Relic weapons. GASP! Don't we also call the relic that drops from Dynamis AF2. By golly George we've discovered something here.

Koenig = Cursed Gear.
