God, it may just be the fact that I really suck at basketball, but when those guys made some of those shots, they didn't even flinch a muscle in excitement... it's like... whatever.

You can just calculate the speed you need to throw it at and stuff, then just make a backwards formula from the ball hitting the backboard or falling at the right angle into the hoop. It'd take awhile but you just work backwards from the ball going in. It's possible I'm sure.

Yeah I was thinking this too, but I'm sure with practice and a photogate you can learn to control the speed at which you throw something.
