By the way, if you have any melee going in (SAM or /SAM), his evasion and defense are shit.

It's good. I went on my (at the time) 73 SAM with only 2 GKT merits (from NIN) and popped Hedgehog Pie by accident, I had no issues hitting him, and was doing 130-150ish a swing with Hagun (much higher than I ever hit Fafnir for). TA Gekko for 500ish.

Acc gear was Sniper + Rajas (no Hachiman Sune-ate+1 at the time), Shura Togi, Shura Haidate, Royal Guard's Collar, O-hat, Life Belt.

[ninja edit]: Granted we lost right after he landed from taking too many Fire Blasts while in the air, on my orb no less. We didn't have the BLM (or RNG) power to drop him fast enough while in the air (3 BLMs). I imagine it would be easier now that you guys have access to Shellra V.

No.. lol. But then again idk either.

I figured it would be manburn'ish with maybe 2 sams for SC/MB- fire carol/barfira and fire resist gear on tanks(or anyone with space/macro space). But thats just a guess, ive never even seen the fight.

In my weak defense, I only did it once, with a pick up group of friend for kicks. I asked, told them I'd split loot aside from Shinsoku (I wanted it for aesthetics; ; ), we got together and lost, no big deal, was fun to try at least.

No one knew how bad it was in the air since Wyrm KS99 wasn't very popular on Lakshmi. Reading about it and then doing it are a little different.....and I was impatient, so I grabbed whoever was online >.>

edit: if you do it right, and perhaps add in a sc, you can have him below 60% before he's fully flying

went 2/3, lost first run getting the feel of the BC.

first dropped Unsho+Shinsoku for a guy in our LS who really deserved it (He even said anyone who wanted to lot items could, he was just doing it for fun, he offered first and second orb, had 600+ KSeals)

Nope. Like 3 MNKs (including me) there needed it too =\ I have a few hundred KSs in mog so I'll end up doing this prolly and duo'ing Day 1-3 turtles for my egg once I get beard.

We didn't use RDM/DRK 2hours at all. We just had like 2 RDM/DRK and 6 BLMs made a stun order so they would each stun every 5 seconds, and BLMs would nuke after their stun.
