    Temperance spawning conditions

    I am familiar with the 5 points at which you can spawn Temperance. As I understand it, you kill a pot at each of these points for a chance to spawn Temperance. This is the extent of my knowlege as far as spawning conditions go.

    I've taken my linkshell on a trek to all five spawn points twice now, taking roughly 2hrs each time. Both times we were unsuccessful in spawning Temperance.

    My question is, does Temperance move around? Think Jailer of Faith and the way his ??? moves every 30 minutes.

    Second question; if Temperance is killed, how long until you can pop him again? If he doesn't move around as Faith does, then he must simply not be ready to spawn.

    Jailer of Temperance is the devil.

    Pretty much every time we go for temperance it goes like what you said above, unless we get lucky, reaaaal lucky.

    It's been said in a bunch of other related topics, but to summarize... Similar to the others, it's a 'trigger' that moves between towers.

    Trigger is believed to be at a tower for about 15 minutes. (that part is still unknown for certain)

    Kill all tower PHs at once and you're almost guaranteed to have it spawn.

    15 minute repop on the NM.

    Our LS runs off the assumption that it moves once a vana'day. Sometimes we don't go for the 5th tower tho, but usually we're successful getting it to pop on the first 4. Could just be more superstitious than a truth, but give it a shot.

    If it takes you 2 hours to get to all 5 spawning points you're doing something incredibly wrong.

    Doesn't have to take 2hrs to get to the 5 spawn points. Since it's said to move, they could kill #1 when it's at #2, on their way to #2 it moves to #1, they kill the others, on the way back to #1, it moves to #5, they kill 1-4, on the way to 5 it moves to #4, etc..

    Unless you're saying you think it moves every 2h, fixed?

    Just to be clear, our assumption is that on Lightsday it's in one spot, and Darksday is in another. So you have to get an entire alliance through all 5 towers and kill all 5 PH in under 1h. Divide and conquer is the best option if you have enough, but it is a struggle when the escorts only move so fast.

    Does Temp only have 5 PH or can it spawn also from Upper lvl? I remember reading people reporting it spawn on their pt doing PM 8-2.

    So Temp. can be kill pretty much wait 15 mins after kill kill all 5 PH @ same time and garenteed to pop on 1st of each tower ph killed assuming they all die seconds together?

    FYI it's almost guaranteed to pop if you kill the PH with a warrior and a brd only.

    Not that this helps your situation at all, but my LS has yet to go to sea with the mind set of popping temperance. We simply kill any PH we come across and just have been extremely lucky getting him to pop.

    I believe the one time that we attempted to spawn him by killing multiple PH, we had 3 parties and sent them to different PH, a single party can easily hold temperance until more people can get to them.

    This is what we have been doin to pop temperance and its works great, we split up into 5 groups and kill PH @ once, we have even got it to pop back to back. If you don't have very many people for your sea farm runs, just hold it with RR pin. Or a competent rdm+nin should be able to hold it for the LS to gather. We usually put a beefier team @ galka because of the much longer walk/wait.

    Also seemed to work with a solo blm as well.



    Temperance sucks.

    If you don't have enough people to kill all 5 PH's at the same time (which is probably the case for almost everyone), then,

    Temperance's pop is based on luck. That is to say, there is no clear evidence on when it moves position. So good luck.

    Currently believe that Temp has an invisible "???" which moves towers every 30 minutes. It's definately not based on game day because people have cleared all 5 towers on the same game day with no pop.

    After temp dies, the ??? respawns in 15 minutes (and the PH Pot will respawn in 16 minutes), thus you can pop Temp 2x in a row at the same tower with 20% chance.

    Popping him once is mostly luck, but it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to kill the PH in each tower once. We usually send a small group of 2-3 people to clear Elvaan + Galka, and the "main" group goes between Taru > Mithra > Hume.

    After you pop him once, as long as you can clear all 5 PH in 29 minutes, it should be 100% pop.

    Oh, and there is a mob pathing glitch you can use to hold Temp forever, as long as you have Gravity to get him into position :wink:

    Sounds like if you put him on the exact oposite side of the pit...He would try and chase you left..you go right. When he goes right..you got left. And you can maybe keep him there like there?

    What cli said is probably the best strats. Send people to every tower, pop solo with small party, keep it up with rr pin in worst case (takes about 5min from entrance to get to galka tower, which is the fartest). Kill ghrah if it doesnt pop.

    certainly works for some other things but never tried with Temp.
