The other-other Hydra set

Regarding the Hydra equip set with the enchantment only (aka not the fellow, not the mage, not the heavy armor) I was wondering who has what and who has tested what.

I'm fairly certain we established the haste from the legs? and decided that they were in fact, badass.

Based on this I decided to lot the Tiara last night for myself near the end of the run (enchantment: potency, or crit+%) in hopes that it is also, badass.

Now I was wondering if anyone has tested this piece, or the others, I intend to do the basic tests on it: does effect stay after switching gear, duration, etc, but I don't currently have a working parser so attempting to test what is most likely a short duration on something as flimsy as crit% is kind of out of hand for me.

Worst comes to worst I swap it on for zerg fights, I won't be disappointed by any results but I think it'd be good to get the info on some items that, according to BGwiki and other wiki, we still have no solid info on.

Hydra Gear enchantment lasts 3 min. If you un-equip you lose the enchantment.

Hydra Tiara - Potency

I used Kraken Club /w some hastes~

Normal - 158 hits - 17% Crit Rate (27/131)
/w Potency - 124 hits - 29% Crit Rate (36/88)

About 10%

Hydra Tights - Haste
Dread Spikes - 2:42 Recast time... 18 seconds off a 180 second spell.
Stacks /w Haste Spell(you see 2 Haste icons). I imagine it's Magic Haste cap. I can test for certain tomorrow after timer is up.

Do you use it much? Trying to decide when 10% crit could be > 5% haste or 12 ACC 12 ATT from Ares' Mask.

I have Ares Mask and Tiara... but they're both in storage. I never use either :/ I can't imagine the Tiara is good for much besides 100 fists. I guess I just never found a use for them~ And long time no see =o

2 - Belt
3- Tights

Tiara is a great option for Hundred Fists on MNK, but that's about all I could figure out to use it for.

An Apoc DRK could make use of the tiara if he used the Gloom Breastplate instead of a Homam Body.

Edit: Or a Rune Chopper DRK.

Ok, so what types of haste do they all count as (all magic?)? All count toward attack delay and recasts?
More interestingly--do they let you break the hardcap? Like I'm decently sure that it wouldn't, since getting Flurry effect doesn't let you go over (it's given as a 2nd haste icon). Still, curious. I guess what I'm wondering is if there's any difference between them being 'haste' haste, or 'flurry' haste. Applying to attack and not recasts or vice-versa. It would be nice if SE went back through item descriptions and put in Potency for all things with +crits and other terms they coined at a later date (Potency, Regain, Flurry? Pax isn't past temp items.) just so we'd know, hm?

I havent done much testing on my Tiara. But (omg small sample size) had 25% Critrate with it on DL parser as NIN.

Tights are considered Magical haste. All three icons stack =o
