Last night, I'm up in sky about to water farm and my connection drops. No big deal, packet problems happen on occassion, so I try to log back in.

Problem is, every time I log in, I either can't get in on my main character, or every time I do I get the infamous red dot of death.

Error codes: FFXI 4001, FFXI 3001, and I've tried every move I can with my router, so no issue on my end. Also, I can still get on my mules, all of them, with no issues whatsoever.

EDIT: For anyone else having this issue, disable your sound on FFXI, it works.
