Not much discussion involved with this, but being a FFXI player (well former player) I found this hilarious.
I across this passage from a book we're reading in my 19th Cent. Europe class:
"What good would wings be to a man bound in iron chains? He would be in despair, in terrible despair. I lay there, like Fafnir beside his treasure, far from all human intercourse, starving amidst all my gold (AKA RIDILL LOL); but my heart was not with the gold; and I cursed that for the sake of which I saw myself cut off from all life...I passed the days and nights in my room in lonely mourning, and grief gnawed at my heart."
