Scholar level 50-75 - Spells question!

I'm confused on how spells like Sandstorm and Geohelix work.

Does Sandstorm boost Geohelix's effect? How does this work if there's no weather other than my own? How does this work if there is weather of another type (ex. ice)?
Does Klimaform make my spell stronger if I'm using a sandstorm-type spell?
Ex. would (Klimaform + Rainstorm + Water III) do more damage than (Water III)?
If so, how much?

The only thing weather does for helix is it gives it a 100% proc rate to trigger the bonus for magic dmg.

Helix spells are actually granted 100% proc rate on weather and day for DMG and Duration (aka magic Acc) without the need for an obi.

Weather bonus only goes up to double weather ( double weather + storm only counts at double weather )

If you have an opposite weather up, its a 100% proc to get the negetive bonus to magic.

Your storm spells cancel out the weather in the current zone, unless they match, then they stack, but not beyond double ( no triple allowed )

Klimaform just boosts your magic acc by a large amount ( possibly 30-50% enhance ) so you dont get resisted and will most likely land full DMG and duration = more dmg

Just 10% DMG increase.

How does this work if there is weather of another type (ex. ice)?

If the other weather is strong against the elemental you're casting (Fire Weather when casting Cryo/Ice Helix), then it cancels out the negative effect of that weather. If it's the same as the weather (Ice Weather for Cryohelix), then it gains an additional 10% DMG Bonus (20% Total). If it's neutral (Any weather but Fire and Ice when using Cryohelix), then you simply gain 10% DMG.

Makes your earth spells less resisted. It's not necessarily more damage though.

Ex. would (Klimaform + Rainstorm + Water III) do more damage than (Water III)?

Simply using Rainstorm gives you a chance to boost Water III's DMG. Klimaform will just help with resists.

@Enygma: According to the SCH thread, Obi actually helps with duration (Meaning the duration isn't 100% from weather).
