Anyone play it? I hate that it uses GFWL, but so far it's not too bad. I've seen a $20 boxed copy that gives you some things too. I do like the big technology skill tree.

I dick around with AoEO when I get the itch for something casual. I'm up to the end at level 37 Greek but I'm stuck on defeat Marion. I stick to free to play, so hard-mode go. Will keep me occupied til Skyrim.

yeah I started to download it then I saw you have to pay for like anything remotely decent...

worth it? I might do the $20 package eventually if it's worthwhile, I suppose I should check out the actual game at some point

You can finish all the regular quests on a free-to-play account, it's just more challenging. The final legendary quests would be too hard though, unless you co-op with a hardcore friend or something.
