    I know a ls that tried kirin a couple days ago. First off they had only fought him a few times before, and it took them about 90 minutes per kill before the nerf. Second, they only had two blms in for the fight.

    They gave up after 3 hours, kirin still had almost half his hp left.

    sorry I dunno I'm just a little lvl 68 bst but is 2 hrs bad for a god? Thought reg time was about 60-90 min no?

    I would assume less actually. The first kirin I did with RotP we had 2 rangers at 75, and 2 more at 67ish. Took us two hours. With 9 rangers...damn that would be a fast fight if your tanks are galkan :wink:

    Or if when people pulled hate they knew how to kite the damn thing. Still haven't died on BLM, just gotta know how to run around and abuse obstacles just like in any other zone...

    I swear to god that's why that pillar exists near the tunnel at HNM buffalo...

    My HNMLS Nintai did Kirin yesterday night twice. Our 'best' record pre-nerf was 38minutes, which is not too bad. We had about 8 RNG's too last night, and it took 86 minutes the first fight, 77 minutes the second. It wasn't so much the RNG's distance from the given boss, kirin being kited, it was more/less the "Ranged Attacks do less to a higher level" nerf. One of the Top HNMLS on CaitSith 'CaitSithSummit' did Kirin in 12min34sec pre-nerf, ( http://www.caitsith.org ) So I'm curious if there time got really bad, or around 40min. Although I must admit, the RNG nerf did suck massive, our DRK Tarutaru Disifer hit for more then a RNG's barrage at one point. . .

    Ya, the pillars are your friends. Kirin only got me once, and it was because I was greedy and pulled off another shot from my Hellfire as he was running towards me. Deadly Hold is not fun, let me tell you.
