First run thru to 5th floor- w/ pics

At first we all picked up the runic disk. not exactly sure what its for though lol

Check the rune of transfer and it will tell you what the objective is. it appears to have different objective each time on each floor- check it so that you know what to do and arnt wasting time.


i tested to see if teh ramparts are like in salvage, where they spit out monsters in hope to get a NM.

i found out, they do not. or at least the ones we fought didnt spit any monsters out.

when your objective is met the rune of transfer will start to glow and allow you to jump to the next floor.

we came accross our first NM on the 2nd floor

or NMs instead of items droping in the treasure pool, items are in chest that pop after the NM death. who ever opens the chest revieves a ??? item.

found and fought one of the new monster types~ nothing too too special about them but i think they *might* drop new items for crafting new armors and junk.

this room seemd to have a garden/plant theme to its monsters, so i dunno if there is a possible pattern or if it really is just random

over all-
its fun as hell, the rooms arnt too big.
you can will get tons if diff types of crystals ( yay crafters )
the mobs give xp and gils
and the drop rates on NMs are too early to tell how well they are.
the bigger NMs that have more than 1 drop im interested in seeing how the chest work. ( i wonder if vclaw AND ring both are possible to get from serket. in 1 kill etc )

Entered with 5 ppl and one of our members had to go afk for the lamp mission. FAIL because all 5 members have to touch the lamps. D2 and/or kicking them from the party does nothing.

Our 2nd run we got the "killed specific mobs", which turns out to be slimes. Killed 1 archiac mob and it seems to lower the amount of tokens obtained. We killed the Dune Boots NM and some Nightmare Gloves NM and got a ??? Boot and ??? Glove. They later turned out to be a pair of leather gloves and kote.

After 2 rounds, our band holder is the only person who is on floor 2 according to the assault npc. I'm not sure if we have to continue to do this with the same band leader to continue on higher floors. We got the 4th floor and compelted it and decided to not attempt 5th floor since a 6th member d/c and we only had 4min left.

Bottom line, for floors 1-5 you need to be fast. Stick together and complete the objective asap. Don't really need whm's or even rdm's. Just blm's and strong DD. Most of the mobs don't hit hard 1-5. GL.
