    It was pretty interesting overall. The zone is extremely spread out, much more so than the Beaucedine.

    Pulls we did seemed to pop 2 smaller versions of the mob we pulled. The big one had a 2hr while the 2 smaller ones just had "normal" attacks.

    Interesting things was the Sabotender's 2hr was 10k needles, but instead of taking about 700 damage from the 14 people that were there, I took about 1700 damage. Also the Hippo's normal moves were slightly changed. Nihility Song did AOE silence + paralyze, and other abilities were slightly skewed.

    We explored around the region and there were a bunch of normal Vanguard Goblin type mobs near the secret beach.

    Overall it was challenging with no subjobs, we were trying to use Thf's to TA hate onto Pld's, but it didn't work too well.

    We didn't have any War's on at the time, or else we sould have tried putting a War with a Smn for Stoneskin, AA, and Diablos' Phalanx ability.

    We had multiple people show up, but determined that having the 4 cities cleared is not a prerequisite. We had a couple people go in who were missing Windurst. But some people weren't allowed in (didn't trigger the CS by examining the Hieroglyphics). We determined that this was due to needing a certain CoP mission cleared. We had someone try who was on 3-5 and he couldn't enter, but had someone who was on 5-1 get the CS. I'm guessing it's probably clearing 3-5 since the new zones are Diablos' dream world thing.

    Anyways it was fun and is definetly made for Rdm's to gravity and then Blm's nuke and kite.

    Edit: We got no AF related drop, just typical dynamis currency. Starting time was 1 hour and we didn't find any time extenders. And when someone died, if you did a search they had their subjob, but if they were raised the subjob went away.

    Choke Breath is an AoE move from Hippo's that does Silence + Paralysis if you don't have sufficient shadows to take it so I'd imagine that's what it was.

    Overall that's some decent info, thanks.

    choke breath is a cone attack, not aoe.

    AOE = Area of Effect of which a cone shaped AOE falls under. Cone shaped or not its still AOE. Just not normally referred to that under most circumstances.
