The singer is actually a computer program called Vocaloid, program voice girl is named Rin Kagamine, u just add the notes and the lyrics and the program will make it into a song, lol ya I wonder also who is the singer and found out about this...

What kind of file is it? I've had hour long recordings that were converted to mp3 that were 40MB >.>

because its a virus right? Its a wav because I can't get audacity to export mp3s.
