Can’t wait.Capcom confirms that their TGS show will feature live gameplay of MH Rise. TGS Show 2020 will have Rise as well as the Capcom TGS show, which will be 1 full hour of MHRise and MHST2 news including live gameplay with full English and Chinese interpretation provided.

I’m loving the freedom of movement, actions and abilities. I can’t decide what my starting weapon will be lol.
Loving the lance abilities. LBG seems a bit simpler than I thought though.
Gameplay
Really glad the sharpness indicator (which is actually more useful then world since you see the full bar) and shortcut menu from World is coming over.
Definitely looking like a solid combination of old school/new school.

They’re is also a Long Sword gameplay. It’s Japanese only.
Here new info the Long Sword highlights
In case you missed it, the last 50 minutes they did a SECOND live demo of the game with female hunter, 2 palamutes, and Long Sword. They had some more details and stuff they shared which was great.
They also showed 2 new LS moves with wirebugs. One uses 1 bug and one 2 bugs. The 1 bug skill was a jump forward and vault off the monster into a helm split. The 2 bug skill is a counter where you make a web and if you get hit you counter. They also showed foresight/iai slash
you call up the target retail using ZR then aim and shoot off the wirebug. If you call it out for a weapon skill you have a timing window unlock movement where it immediately uses up the full wirebug gauge
You can use the wirebug to also escape if you are pinned down (uses a gauge)
They also confirmed on second play that the bugs with extract are for temporary buffs.
Green = max health boost
Orange = max stamina boost
Blue = defense boost
Red = attack boost

DIFFICULTY SCALING THANK GOD.
That's the only thing I was truly worried about them removing from World. Being effectively locked out of like 60% of the game if you were offline/wanted to play solo was a pain (yes you could solo it, but you know what I mean)
And permanent event quests hell fucking yeah.
Rise really looking to be the best of new and old world stuff. Can't wait, I couldn't get into GU because of how stiff everything felt, so this potentially feeling more like world is gonna help a lot.
