well folks here we are. the two number one seeds who basically had their spots locked in for most of the season (eagles more so early, chiefs more so late) survived various injuries and claims they were falling apart to make everyone mad they are playing in the superb owl

the eagles are slight favorites as of right now (the line has held at 1.5 for basically ten days) and made it here because they are somehow simultaneously the most talented and deepest roster which means their qb and coach are not good, yet at the same time overrated and lucky to be here because they also suck and never beat anyone and should have lost every game they played even though they went 9-1 against above .500 teams. sound logic.

the chiefs meanwhile have the more overall playoff and Super Bowl experience on their roster, along with having the better overall qb and head coach; however, all their receivers are dead, their star qb is probably playing at around 80% on a bum ankle, and they are also lucky to be here because the refs cheated and stuff (also, don’t forget the andy reid school of clock management).

last year i bet an offensive lineman would score a td and lost, but i also bet a non-qb would throw a td pass and won $1400, and they increased the odds on both of those from last year so fuck it, let’s ride. andy might do something weird and siriani might let kelce or lane score a td just to be a prick

there are big-time american charities out there that operate with over 90% overhead. i remember hearing about some veterans disability charity that made 115 million in a year and 11 million of it actually went to the vets... it was a totally legit foundation, it was just run insanely bad
