The real driving simulator on the PS3.

Wow...kinda all that can be said about this new video of GT HD. Take note of the drivers inside of the cars...in addition to the ridiculous backdrops.

I'm not a huge fan of graphics making a game (I play WoW and FFXI)...but I don't know anyone who wouldn't buy a PS3 just to see that game in motion.

So anyone impressed? I think its a huge step in graphics...and I dunno how you can really downplay it. GT has already proved they make amazing driving simulators, don't see how things cant just go up with better physics and graphics. Really amazing stuff imo.

Gonna click the video in a second, but is this the same game that we were talking about a few months ago that was reportedly going to charge players if they wanted to buy cars beyond the 10(?) starter cars, and for extra tracks beyond the one you started with? Such that the full game would cost thousands of dollars? It can be however pretty it wants to be, but if that's the way the content will go, I wouldn't ever play it. x.x

In my opinion I thinkt he graphics are at their peek for auto games, with GTHD.

Its arguably better looking than real life, I can't say HDTV auto events look nearly as "life-like" as GTHD does, as odd as that sounds I feel its true.

I say thumbs up to graphics, but stop where they are, and put in oustanding crash dynamics and graphical effects.

It is pretty incredible. I have high hopes for 2007 and 2008 for the ps3. Xbox720 might be out by then though lol.

Pretty good looking, but beside graphics, it's still a boring driving simulator. It's the kind of game I would play for 5-6 hours and get bored.

Yeah, remember the word Simulator. They want you to drive these cars and design them so that they feel just like you would in the real world. On MTV (dont ask why i was watching it) they had a special on gamers or something and there was several GT fans who found cars they liked in GT, hooked them up in GT, then went out and bought the exact same car with the same things added on to it and set to the same specs.

of course it was mostly like tercel's and shit lol and not indy cars or escudo's(lolllll @ manually tuning) They want you to have the experience that you're actually in the car. That's not fun to me, turning around and going backwards on a track and driving 100-300mph into another car head-on is fun to me.

i also used to do this in a really old indy car game i had... the cars would explode and all that would be left would be like the cockpit
