I got another cutscene from Waond today now that I'm 41. You go into a cutscene with a blue mage telling to to get your strength from the beast. After this, if you talk to Woand again he plays the question game yet again. I answered them again and he told me to replace my weapon with a fishing rod on the waves.


I'm going to go on the nashmau ferry and try and fish I guess >.>

Anyone have any ideas?

Random thought, that NM everyone fished up the first night on the ferry to Aht Urgan, maybe that NM is quest related? Didnt seem to drop anything...

Well my friend who I static with basically is 42 cor now and he also got a cutscene tonight which inspired me to check too.

Need to finish AF1 weapon before you can activate the armor quests. Considering this is the first sign of AF we see, give it some time.

The ferry sounds like the most likely culprit - perhaps a currently unseen NM that will only pop for a BLU on the quest, the same as the ninja quest.

is the only "BLU only" weapon I could find, however the weird part is , it can be HQ'd, and it's not even rare/ex.

Went back next day, answered questions slightly differently.

Now he said to go harvest in Wajaom or Bhalftabkey. I might make a new discovery.

i got that sword on AH last night for 1 mill. but wasnt able to get the CS til right after maintence (was first thing i checked since i was 43) so i dont think they are related. prob just a jse deal like austere or that smn only staff himmel stick or something. but im 47 tonight so im pretty much giving up hope of having AF while leveling at least i can sport royal cloak and stuff so i wont feel gimpy to 75.

If it's anything like the quest that activates the unlocking of BLU, and you are having to pay 1000 g for the divination after answering the questions; My guess is that you are:

A) Answering them wrong.
B) It might be totally random if you get the quest.


I think someone posted that him and 4 others all picked the same choices when going for blu, yet only 3 got the quest and 2 didn't. Which makes the quest random. Which means AF1 quest might be random also. Keep trying the same options over and over for about 5 days straight. If that doesn't work then start changing your answers each time you do it.

90% certain no harvesting points in the zone now. I did find a ??? in both Wajaom and Bhalf, trading sickle did nothing tho :/
