Pages often don't load at first and require F5ing

is this an ISP thing or a windows 7/recent firefox thing

I've only had it in recent months, and during which time I've been on a telephone based high speed internet provider (Bell Canada), as well as recently acquiring Windows 7 and faithfully upgrading firefox as notified

the page kinda stalls out a large percentage of the time, but typically only the first time visiting the site that day. I have to refresh it and sometimes even tha doesn't work, and then AVG comes up with some lame search screen that I never use



something is bogging it down, maybe AVG, I noticed sono didn't like AVG although I didn't read the details too closely as this is the only real problem I have and wasn't sure the cause

Ive been having issues specifically with Hardforum.com where when I click on a link, it takes me to the page but never loads. I have to hit F5 to refresh the page all the time. Its annoying.

Try changing DNS servers, use Google's or OpenDNS

8.8.8.8 primary
8.8.4.4 secondary for google

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220 for opendns
