Tips on making fake armor boxes.

I can never get them realistic enough (at least, not enough to trick Grunion, which is sad). I have photoshop and all that. If anyone could point me to the .dats I should use, or what font. Photoshoping in-game pictures just doesn't work well.

    Sorry for the Zamish thread.

I saw a post in General Discussion asking for Wafik's help with making pictures look better, it was fairly recent. I'll see if I can find it.

    Edit: http://www.theorderls.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10069

Found it, that what you're looking for?

Nah, I'm talking about photoshoping an item. Like Walahra Turban +1.

Use a memory editor. Much easier and cleaner.

I would imagine the easy way to create an image of something like the Turban +1 would involve finding another item with the right graphic and changing the text in the corresponding .dat to reflect what you want to be displayed. In this case, it would be the Sheikh Turban.

I'm not a .dat diver, so I don't know whether the white/blueboxes are overlayed by the client or whether they're part of the images. If they're overlayed and the .dat just has a value that tells the client which box to use, then your job is that much easier.

If this is what you're talking about

Then I could probably shop something for you if you need.

Could anyone just give me a 'blank' armor sheet(that looks realistic anyway)

    something like this: http://www.playonline.com/pcd/update...Y3BV1/4_us.jpg

Without the stuff on it. Also which font/size is it exactly.

Telling me the .dats where to get this is fine too ;o.

Sorry for the semi-necro-bump, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this question. Is there a free version of Photoshop? If so, can someone provide a link? Their website only suggested the pay version of it, and it was pretty expensive.

You can always use GIMP. It isn't as great as photoshop but for general purpose needs it works rather well. If you are a big lisp fan it's also sorta fun :D.
