    FFXI/Windower and KVM switch

Asked this on FFXI, and haven't gotten a reply yet.

Is there a way to keep FFXI via Windower from crashing/shutting down when switching PCs via a KVM switch? Anytime I switch to my work PC and switch back to my personal PC, Windower has closed down.

    Thanks

Look into dgvoodoo, it stabilizes the game significantly.

Mine does not under the same conditions. Are you using "hardware mouse" in the settings?

I've tried this. One of the first steps is installing d3dcompiler_47.dll into either System32 or SysWOW64. I have full rights (as far as I know) on my PC, and it still won't let me move the file in.

Ok, so i figured out that issue, and got dgvoodoo working. the game no longer crashes, but it does resize my FFXI window, so its definitely an improvement. Thanks for the assistance
