There was a really good set of tutorial videos that helped me out let me see if I can find it...

Edit: wow there are so many homebrew videos now I can't seem to find the set of videos he had (he had many of them for each step and such).

Also, apprently, there is a way to do this without twilight princess so I guess my method is a bit archaic now =x Prolly someone else is more capable of explaining it then >_<

    Ok fine lol

I went to my girlfriend cousin's house for a bday this weekend and we played a bit of his wii.

I knew that Homebrew could play some emulators and roms, (which i will start doing soon) but he was also playing complete Wii games, and as far as i know he didn't had an SD card in his wii or a USB stick.

I know for a fact that it's not mod chipped for anything so.

My question is how can you play Downloaded wii games on your wii with homebrew.

ISO files of games imaged burned on a disc and running a loader (some work with others some don't; I use I think it was called gator for most of mine on homebrew and backup loader for Tatsunoko vs Capcom).

Suggest doing a little research on youtube since so many videos are out there.

    found this guide

    http://www.wiiguide.co.cc/

Not sure if it's up to date or not but meh

As for my gf's cousin, i didnt asked him any question which i regret now but afaik he didnt had any Cd inserted in his wii.

all i know is he lauchned the channel then came a white screen and then he choosed from lot of wii game in alphabetical order.

Exemple we played Wii sport Resort and 20sec after we changed to super smash bros brawl without changing CD or DVd on the wii. (also he connected to the net to load "icons" then disconnected from the net if that can give you any info

Pretty sure he was using one of those usb hdd loaders, probably WiiFlow or w/e its called.

Basically, you connect the wii's usb to an external hdd (connected via the usb), and all of the games are stored on that hdd, and you just load them.

yeah i'll try the trick this way

    1) install homebrew
    2) install wiiflow on my SD card
    3) install wii games + roms on external HDD unless it stores them in homebrew

    Next question

If i get an external HDD to store the game, i read that they need a special File system, do you absolutly need it or NTFS or FAT32 will work just to store the games?

You need WBFS, which is unique to the Wii itself. There's a program called WBFS manager you can download that'll allow you to format your device and read/write to it within the app.

I *love* WBFS manager and USB loader, they work so well

in case you're looking for a good HD to buy, based on that compatibility list on GBA temp I went with the Western Digital My Passport 320gb, and I've yet to have a single issue with it. 320gb is a LOT too, I have probably 30 or so games on it and it's not even 25% full. Currently they sell for around 70-80 bucks, on newegg/amazon.
