Happened in my town. Costco employees confirm they accepted the return.
That particular Costco does not sell live trees.

No more Wop thread title?
lol I get those types of returns ALL THE TIME. Had this one woman years ago return 50$ worth of conventional fruit because the person she bought it for needed organic. When we told her it was going to be disposed off, she was shocked and said "but they're perfectly good berries! I had them in the cooler and everything" we do compost em but still.
Then I also had to return 700$ worth of bell peppers because they were from the wrong farm. They bought em in bulk for some taste testing garbage. No idea. There needs to be an expose on American waste at grocery stores in regards to food.
ohi

North Dakota man Steals $4k worth of goods from Hobby Lobby, Arrested after a Comedy of Errors
http://www.inforum.com/news/4383137-...se-hobby-lobbyMinot police said Hobby Lobby employees reported a male shoplifter about 7 p.m. Wednesday night, Jan. 3. While attempting to flee with the shopping cart filled with the merchandise, Johnson’s cart became stuck in the snow and overturned in the parking lot, police said.
Police said the man then tripped and fell, abandoned the cart and merchandise and fled on foot.
Officers said they found Johnson’s wallet near where he fell, with his ID photo matching the description of the shoplifting suspect.
Police then went to the Johnson’s home where he was arrested.
I'm a supervisor for Costco in CA (where I think you live as well) and we get stuff like this or worse daily lol. (My personal favorite refusal was the gentleman that asked me to refund his television because he wasn't satisfied, but did not want to take the television off the wall mount and bring it in.)
I've heard soooo many stories of people returning mattresses to Costco after 4 years of use, or kids bedroom sets when the kids grow up.
REI used to have a lifetime no questions asked return policy that got some real fun returns. People would basically just use stuff till they needed replacing and return it more or less like one time fee rentals. My sister did this with snow coats for like 15-20 years lol.
tell your sister she's a scumdweller
Was. I blame her mom teaching her bad habits from being poor and having multiple kids with different fathers
I played so many games thru the "GameStop rental" plan. Back then GS would let you return a preowned game purchase for any reason, no questions asked for 7 days after purchase. I'd buy pre-owned, play the shit out of something, then return it for full refund. They don't do this anymore, probably because of people like me.
I did that to try out new games but would keep them if I enjoyed the game
truly, you are cold-blooded
