They did the voices pretty well, but wouldn't it be more logical to use the same word was the other version? so why use soul reaper when shinigami is right there for you to use? seems stupid

People only used Shinigami because DB was too lazy to translate it. >_>;
Or at least I feel that way. I'm not some huge fan of Japanese culture (though I find comedy in a lot of it) so I dont geek out on knowing Japanese words and sayings.

Its translated by most other Bleach fansubs, and its one of the reasons I HATE Dattebayo. They always leave little phrases un-translated when there's a clearer meaning.

To me its ok not to translate stuff like brother, sister, mother ect because I think most anime watchers can pick up on those meanings pretty fast, but stuff that's usually directly related to an anime and not used very often otherwise should get a translation.

They did it with "Ero-Sennin" in Naruto too when fan-subbers before dattebayo had no problem translating it into "perverted-hermit" or something simliar. I'd never know wth that meant if it wasn't for other fan-subbers.

I also noticed on the Naruto when Sarutobi had the showdown with Orochimaru and he summoned the Shinigami to eat Orochimaru's soul, DB translated Shinigami to Deathgod just fine. Dunno why they couldnt for Bleach.

It isn't half bad dubbing but, Ichigo's isn't as rash and angry as it should be, and Rukia's feels weird. But I wonder how they'll do Chad's voice?
