    87th Academy Awards (Feb 22 2015)

Reznor and Ross were snubbed for original score.

Surprised they were so high on Foxcatcher.

And no LEGO movie for animated film is all kinds of wat

Everything is Awesome for original song is quite surprising. Was expecting animated feature instead.

Citizen Four nom is really the only one I raised an eyebrow for; Selma was expected, yet still somehow snubbed lol. Funny how much the film community still cares for these awards, when the Grammies are arguably a joke now to the majority of the music community. Also, um, I'll leave this here... http://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/o...a065914edec311

I think this is the first time I haven't seen at least one of the best picture nominee's in theater. Was really wanting to see Birdman but just was never able to go see it.

Boyhood is going to clean house I feel. Not a lot of strong contenders this year. Which I guess is positive, there didn't seem to be movies made for the sole purpose of Oscar bait a-la "The Artist".

    All whities....

No diversity here. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences received the wrath of the Internet on Thursday, Jan. 15, after announcing its nominees for the 2015 Oscars. All 20 nominees in acting categories are white — which makes the pool one of only a few instances of complete lack of diversity in nearly 20 years.

I still contend that Bradley Cooper should have gotten a Best Supporting Actor nod for Guardians of the Galaxy.
