There u go!
Quite a few good one's in this seasons list too! :O
So my list...
Must Watch/Fap to
Overlord III - Because the anime is awesome
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 - Giant naked people
FLCL Progressive - Because its crazy awesome, with a lot of crazy
Satsuriku no Tenshi - Read some of the manga long ago, it'll be an interesting psycho killer action movie!
Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu - Catgirl (would be more amazing uncensored, AND even more amazing if it was all drawn in the style the ED shows the characters...)
Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san - Manga... is great... must... watch... ATX version...
Need to check out
Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria - Lots of girls... hmmm
Joshiochi!: 2-kai kara Onnanoko ga... Futtekita!? - saomething about that cover image.. say its going to have some decent amount of "plot"
My tentative list, because who knows they might all be trash:
High Score Girl
Happy Sugar Life
Tenrou
Shichisei no Subaru
Asobi Asobase
Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes
Phantom in the Twilight
Tsukumogami Kashimasu
Aguu: Tensai Ningyou
Overlord III (once I watch II...)
I don't like FLCL, Attack on Titan or the endless shitfiesta of same-plot isekai shows so that leaves me with off the beaten track offerings this summer. Think it's gonna be a quiet season more or less, but I'll probably just work off of what everyone else says is good like usual.
I'm so very excited for Attack on Titan, especially if they're going to do the parts I think they are (I've wanted to see this shit animated for like 3 years).
Heard this season of Overlord should be good, because the last was absolutely shit but I'll wait for some impressions first before I watch.
First episode of Hanebado! was good, so I'll be keeping up with that.
Chuukan Kanriroku Tonegawa was also interesting but only because it's related to Kaiji. It still seems like the most next level shit though, definitely gonna watch even if only for ZUWA.
Gintama goes without saying. Is this the final final season?
The rest I'll see as we go along, looks like crap but there's always a surprise or 2.
Nah, the Gintama manga did a timeskip and is still going
Also, fuck yeah GRAND BLUE!!!!
Any of yall at AX?
Asobi Asobase is 100% my kind of show lol
So bright but so fucking dark too, that ending (and ED) holy shit. Amazing.
Echoing, Asobi Asobase is amazing. Hoping they'll find a way to keep this interesting in the long run.
I'll take fluff episodes of this kind of Overlord over any of the stupid lizard episodes any day.
...it's here.
Watched the 1st episode of Starlight Revue (or something like that) on a whim and I'm glad I did. Definitely getting Utena/Mawaru Penguin Drum vibes. Ending was wild and the animation was actually pretty good. Hoping this is will be an emotional and confusing journey into actual madness.
Grand Blue 1st episode also took me by surprise, I feel like the funny faces part of anime might be overdoing it now but I wasn't bored at all. But thinking about drinking that much makes my head hurt.
Those over the top faces are a staple in the manga. They won’t be stopping anytime soon
Oh I don't want them to stop I'm just noticing it more lately. I can think of at least 4 shows I've seen with OTT faces, probably a few more that didn't do it nearly as well.
For anyone who watched the newest episode of Overlord
Ohhh, *that* thing he said
I'll post it here. Fuck who ever animated FMP this season. I love this series so much, the story is great, but holy fuck. Also, it better not take 10 years to finish the series.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ep1-4
I watched the first four episodes and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly expected the worst. Like, Teen Titans Go sort of bad. The jokes were actually funny at times and I found the animation amazing(very heavy Studio Trigger influenced). in terms of story-line, was rather weak. Many questions arose in my mind when watching it and nothing was taken seriously. Overall it had promise but they need to improve the characters personality and story.
PS What the actual fuck did they do to Master Splinter.
Kinda tired of this lull in Stein's Gate. Need Okabe to start giving a damn again.
