Does Photoshop just stop working after a while for you...??

I don't know what's wrong with mine, but after maybe an hour of using photoshop mine just STOPS working. I can't change the colors, make any of the effects come up, or anything...it just craps out.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem, and/or knows how to fix it?

And yeah, I did download it, but this was a while ago, and it used to work just fine. Very frustrating.

best guesses: buggy plugins/filters, out of disk space, virus.

low amount of disk space / low RAM are usually the biggest culprits when photoshop just stops without warning. Especially if you're saving lots, using many layers, or just working with large pictures (filesize wise)

ya its probly a RAM problem. You might want to save it then restart your computer. hopefully that will fix the problem.

Depending on your version and how much space you have allocated, your "scratch disks" may full up if you do not have enough RAM for your pictures.

If you check your preferences, you should be able to increase your memory allocation and add more scratch disk space. I think periodically shutting down to clear out your undo cache before you run into memory problems may help as well.

I had problems with my "cracked" version. When I finally saved up enough cash and bought the real version all my problems were solved.

Not saying you have the cracked version... but that might be the problem.
