Figured I would cross post this here as not everybody goes to ffxiah forums.

The most impressive thing is that Snaps made a comprehensive list of every crafting recipe in the game. @_@
The python scripts parse bg-wiki for recipes.
I just saw that the recipes themselves had their own resource file and was thinking that would be a lot of typing if they didn't have a way to datamine from somewhere. lol
I don't know python, does it automatically check for new recipes or have a way to force it to do so? Noticed there were instructions for adding your own recipes..
Sidenote: Would something like this be possible for synergy? >_> As far as recipe database and auto-trading mats goes, not the actual process.
I am Snaps. The script can be run just like any other python script and will update your recipes although there shouldn't be any need for users to run it. When new recipes are released, they should be added to bg-wiki first. Then I can run the script and submit a push request to windower with the new recipes list so they are updated for everybody else. I added it to the the addon directory in case I stop maintaining it or if someone really can't wait for the addon to be updated after new recipes are released (or really anybody can do the push request easily this way.)
I was wanting to try this out, but i keep receiving a "craft: Lua runtime error: attempt to call a string value" and I can't figure out why
What are you doing to get that error?
how do i add a recipe? i'm trying to make the lvl 10 bonecraft bone arrow x33 recipe but it says recipe not found.
i tried using //craft make "bone arrow 2" but thats when i get the recipe not found error, "bone arrow" is the woodcrafting recipe
well its //craft make "bone arrow"
