Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all of the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey, Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him -- as well as everyone around him -- as the walls between his compartments shatter.

Just got back from this, great film. I don't want to start going into spoilers yet. But go see it if you can.

Just saw this last night with the g/f. Wanted to come straight home and make a thread but we ended up meeting some friends after for drinks and was to tired when we finally got home.

Movie was great, McAvoy was awesome and Anya Taylor-Joy did a really good job too. I'll hold off on spoilers too for a little while.

Like reviews have said, a slow burner but the ride to the end was so worth it. Hell it even had the theater I was at laughing several times and never felt forced.

I hate that this movie isn't the usual Shyamamlamlamn trainwreck because I know people with DID who are having to deal with jokes and misunderstanding from this and I can't in good conscience support it

Saw trailers that made me want to see it, and now that I noticed M Night directed it I want to even more. Fuck the haters (sans Airbender, hate is justified).

i liked ol boy mcavoy and anya taylor joy but the movie itself was eh. the cameo at the end felt so completely unnecessary and random, almost ruined the movie for me
