Peter Stolmare (Lucifer) confirmed via Instagram that a sequel is in the works, no further info. I thought the original was great for what it was. Imagine Keanu getting such a resurgence after John Wick was enough to get the studios to give the go ahead.

Figured the year was needed since there was that series that came out 5~ years ago. I'm used to you having the monopoly on making these threads. :X I'm so bad at it that I even misspelled the name.

I suck at Twitter. Reading that thread, they reported like 4 things at the same time. Keanu signed on for it, same director directing it, the project is dead, and they expect someone else to pick it up. Is that normal to just report all that information in separate posts? I feel like a boomer.

If I read it correctly, looks like a TV series was originally being created and which has now been cancelled. A new sequel to the movie is being developed and Keanu has signed on to reprise his role.
