    Observe and Report

    Has anybody else seen this movie? I came in expecting a slightly darker version of typical Rogen/Apatow comedy and holy fuck this movie completely surprised me. What a fucked up and yet hilarious movie.

    Also om nom nom at Hayden Panettiere in her new American Pie/Superbad style movie and The Hangover looks epic.

    observe and report is NOTHING like rogans other movies. if you want the comedy use the passes on i love you man. i still thought observe and report was great, but its march darker than you would expect.

    It's um...very unexpected. Like holy shit did that just happen. Story kinda meandered all over the place, but it's worth seeing at least once.

    Lack of an organized story is probably my only complaint, but its understandable since the movie is about showing us a point in the life of a delusional bipolar mall cop.

    My roommates and I watched it this weekend, and we got into a debate about whether they were trying to be deep or just filling it with stuff and people are reading too much into it. Yes, it does show what self-delusion can do to a person, but if you watch Rogen's interview on the Daily Show, he pretty much says they were just trying to see how much they could get away with, not necessarily trying to have a deep meaning or anything.
