Screenshot Speculation.

Now, I'm not sure if this has been brought up before or not, I'm sure it has somewhere, but I just don't feel like rummaging through the forum to find it.

I was looking at the "screenshots" on the official site (the trailer stills), and I kept thinking about the one developer interview when they mentioned that the trailer held something special, or secret, whatever the wording was. Now, I don't know how this could be secret or anything, but I noticed something in this picture that I hadn't before:

There are beams of light coming from the sky which I noticed before, however, what I hadn't noticed was that the beams of light seem to be drawing energy/illuminating or maybe they're giving energy to those craggy mountain formations.

It makes me really curious as to what exactly is happening there. Maybe those are huge aetheryte (sp?) formations... but I'd still like to know why those beams of light are there.

If they are huge aetheryte formations maybe it's some sort of unexplainable (the gods??) phenomenon that charges the mountains with the energy needed for teleportation and everything out that the races of Eorzea use the aetheryte for; and then the races mine the aetheryte.

What do you guys think? (Sorry if I had a lot of run on sentences there, feeling very tired/lazy and watching TV. I feel like there are a lot of grammatical errors.)

I know some people at Eorzeapedia "deciphered" some of the armor differences in the newly released pictures but I haven't seen anyone decipher the secret message in the trailer. I find it impossible to though.. it could be anything.

@Ryuushin - Yeah, I really don't know what the "secret" could be, it's not like we even have any idea what to guess at, all we can do is randomly speculate.
