Absorb TP questions

Has anyone tried it on proto-ultima or seen it at work? Does it even land without dark seal in a place with 2x light weather? Am I just kidding myself buying DRK gear and should I cut the shit and stick to SAM? >_> I figure worse comes to worst I can kraken + 2 hour when it puts up magic shield or during a citadel buster. I need answers

It works very well on ultima, around an 80% land rate for me with 305 dark magic skill, for the usual range of TP gain. The resist rate does seem to increase as it gets lower HP though... But thats just ultima for ya. In any case, absorb-tp is quite nice on it.

On the other hand, I've never had it land on omega ....but who cares, omega might as well commit seppuku whenever it is popped.

Xavier was draining TP consistantly on ultima with little to no dark skill gear and a smidge of mg.acc from homam shit.

Everytime we do Ultima or Omega we usually get dicked out on heads which everyone either;

a) Already has.
b) Doesn't want anymore 'cause of Walahra Turban.

Our last Omega before we got back onto the annoying Ultima cycle, which takes twice as long, twice as much effort and four times as much EXP, dropped us a nice pair of useless Homam Zuchetto's! Seeing that in the pool and knowing I was next for Homam Cosciales made me wanna punch a fucking midget.

Our ultima to omega ratio is a tad off, like 6 (8 really, lost the first 2) to 14. Meo likely curses omega day because it just means he's gonna get dicked on the manopolas drop again XD I got corazza last run so I have little to complain about (2 zuchetto's dropped too >_>)... except how much I end up biting the floor during ultima for various reasons, drop it to 1% only to have some fkn DRG kill it as I get jewed out on the last weapon skill.

I think we've gotten 3 turbans off of 6 kills, 4 hearts, 4 crackows, 1 leg and zilch for hands.

Homam bodies used to drop for my limbus shell , untill I became eligable to lot.

First time was Head/Body/Hands (I couldnt lot on any)

Second was Feet/Legs (I could lot but I failed both)

Third time was Head/Legs (I won lot on head only because nobody wanted it) .

My LS hasn't seen Homam Legs since the very one we ever did (which I won the lot on <_< ), and we still have yet to ever get the Head from Ultima. Loves giving us legs and hands though so can't complain really, makes our RDMs and SMNs happy.

Our last ultima run was awesome, body and two hands. Usually we just get a head and some other random item. Have only gotten one pair of shoes, and zero pants though.
For omega we usually get head and/or hands. A couple pants and feet, and only one body total.

Our record is pretty suck with Ultima, killed it around 9 times now with one loss... And have never seen legs drop, just a ton of hats/hands along with 1-2 bodies and 3-4 feet.
