As much as I love the old RE style, RE4 is the best in the series. It's more action-oriented and has more replayability.

You know, you really dont appreciate the awesome violence, gore, and sheer horror of this game till you see something like this or just relfect back upon it.

I take it you've never played a RE game before if this one's voice acting didn't make you play it, considering it was probably the best VA'd (or 2nd best, although still cheesy dialog) out of the whole series.

My favourite RE game is BY FAR RE3, I so loved that game, Jill is just awesome (BETTERTHENCLAIRELOL) and Nemesis kicks ass. RE4 though is a great game, and only 3rd favourite to 3 and 2 solely because of nostagia...

Only downside to RE4 is that it isn't scary enough, the only scary parts are in the sewers (NOVISTADORS) the maze garden (LOLDOGS) and inside the facility (LOLREGENERATORSANDIRONMAIDENS). Iron Maidens and Regenerators will always be the freakist enemy ever, and they look so cool (<3 the Iron Maiden death)

they ALL have cheesy dialogue, there isn't one without cheesy dialogue. usually the VA'ing makes the dialog a lot worst then it is, but in this one the VA's were good. People are starting to care about the VA's they hire and how they talk unlike 10 years ago when they didn't really give a fuck.

It really doesn't have the same affect, you have to hear it, because it may be the lamest voice acting in any game ever. RE1, the original, had the worst acting, but in a way it added humor to the game.
