Rimdr in cmd prompt?

Okay first off I know this is bad from what people have been telling me I just really don't get what it does and don't want to experiment to find out. I tried googling Rimdr, Rimdim couldnt find anything explaining what it does, so does anyone know what it does?

rmdir removes a directory so be careful what arguments you run it with.

If you googled rimdr and nothing came up, then you can't have spelled it correctly because if google comes up with nothing, it doesn't exist.

Like the poster above me said, rmdir will delete a directory from your hard drive, but typing in rmdir alone, action without object, will produce no results and will cause no harm

help followed by command name works as well:

C:\> help rmdir
Removes (deletes) a directory.

RMDIR [/S] [/Q] [drive:]path
RD [/S] [/Q] [drive:]path

/S Removes all directories and files in the specified directory
in addition to the directory itself. Used to remove a directory
tree.

/Q Quiet mode, do not ask if ok to remove a directory tree with /S
