My LS killed Khim, I'm a leathercrafter and was interested in some feedback on the gear if a BST would wear it, and what pieces. Mats aren't selling, and maybe buying it and selling armor might be a better choice.

Any thoughts from BSTs?

I think Bison feet are pretty similar to that, if I recall correctly. You could probably just use those, instead.

Feet are ok. The rest is trash. I didn't use bison, I'm not going to use this bison +1.

To give you an idea on the price. It's 5acc/5atk, slightly better than adaman feet, but probably not as good as dusk feet in most setups. I'll buy them to sign them for myself when the price reaches rock bottom. I can't see this the manes selling for more than 100k each (on asura, hauby is 1.1-1.3ish for comparison).

My advice is hold the materials.....don't be stupid and waste them on junk like this that won't sell.

We have seen several more useful recipes for cerb claws for instance and some lol cerb hide ones...and some hydra ones too..these additions were made long after the mobs were introduced

More than likely the value of those mats will sky rocket when something useful is made from them, like hades sainti for instance..

bison warbonnet also reduces reward recast time. wonder if khimaira bonnet reduces it more.

None of it. After Charm gear, haste gear, and WS gear, I have like 4 spots open in my inventory. Can't lug around any useless gear like that set so other BST can drool on my epeen....

Off-topic, I was leveling BST in Batallia downs the other day and stumbled upon this huge fish-bot colony along the cliff/coast. Counted about 26 characters, fishing up mythril swords and not sure what else, w/ runners selling stuff to NPC's in upper jeuno >.> Guess this is what they have to do to make gil since all their shit is getting banned. Funny thing is I put in a GM call and I get an automated response that says "Please include the names of the players you're reporting!" Oh yea, they finally killed KB here too <.<

I think they fucked the whole FFXI community by delivering another HNM that has crafting drops for another shitty armor set. At least they got somewhat off their RotZ armor fetish with Salvage armor but it looks like SE did Khimeira armor for the lulz.

It's just filler gear for the sword prize! Instead of no loot Tiamat with rare boots, you get Khimaera with filler loot and a rare sword.

Would you rather see nothing in the pool or consolation garbage? I'm still undecided!
