It’s also claimed that XCOM studio Firaxis is working on a new turned-based strategy game starring Marvel heroes. Last month Take-Two said the studio would reveal “several exciting projects” this year.

“As a result of the engagement from the past as well as the success of XCOM Chimera Squad and XCOM 2 on Switch, Firaxis games had one of its best years ever,” said CEO Strauss Zelnick during an earnings call.

“We expect this growth to continue as the studio has several exciting projects in development that will be revealed this year.”

I'm currently going through another game right now, but I did get the Legendary Edition for "free" due to a Best Buy compensation issue due to some deliveries of appliances. I only toyed around with the tutorial thus far and got to the base. But it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and a bunch of stuff to discover. Looking forward to it though for sure.

A very minor gripe is you can't seem to turn off subtitles. But other than that in the hour I played, no complaints.

finally started this. only done 1 mission so far, but the combat is fun. the cutscenes have been very choppy for me though

The more I play this, the more I am enjoying it. I thought you were going to be stuck with the same abilities all game. But there are several different attacks and abilities and all of the heroes have a great feel to them. There's also a TON of shit to do in The Abbey.

I finished this. Overall excellent really fun game. It's on sale now everywhere at 33% off, so if you were thinking about it, go ahead and go for it.

Game was 100% worth it at full price, discounted already means weak sales probably, which is unfortunate. I am really looking forward to the DLC and while I don't think it may get a sequel because of sales, I would absolutely play the shit out of another of these games with another set of characters.
