Maybe I'm just overlay OCD. But it looks too good compared to the old/grainy look that I remember...

Some of the zones have shittier clouds than others, that looks like Sandy always has. I don't have any old pics to compare it with but I found some old screens of East/West Ron and the clouds look identical to that.

Yeah, especially the lightning clouds. For years I always thought the clouds had little "dots" (crap texturing) in them because I always used ATi based cards thinking it a driver/manufacturer glitch. Changed to a 6800GT and was still doing the same thing. I guess its just certain clouds then that look crap.

I really do like the newer-WoTG styled ones though. Like the ones that you can see in areas like berry, sar, etc. Sucks you can't .dat mod the clouds for zones ._.

There's clearly a difference between the 3, the clouds are 'fatter' and not as smooth in the base zones vs the newer ones. The textures are obviously granier too. Mind, these were taken before this 'ninja change' that has been proposed, so it's a good basis for comparison.
