Popping Acrolytes in Silver Sea Remnants II

Just started to farm Alex and doing this run on a regular basis. Wiki says that the ramparts in the the last rooms just before the final room can pop Acrolith if linked, and not aggroed. Wiki also says there are 5 Acroliths that can pop.

Most I've got to pop is three, by pulling one of the pair and the middle one of the trio. I've tried linking a gear from an earlier room with the pair by using flee and snk/invis to get behind the pair so the gear links, rather than aggro. But that just results in only gears popping.

Is there a way to get all 5 Acroliths to pop for chance of their purses?

It has been maybe 7 or 8 years since I did SSR II like this to even remember the answer to this. I just remember fighting them, but not how.
