I think the confusion might be Call of Duty 4 was called Modern Warfare. (MW1)

Since then there have been Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3).

I'll believe this when I see it, because the disparity between the accuracy of PC and console players is going to cause huge amounts of butthurt. Unless console players also play with keyboard and mouse.

Looks like they did put in Cross play. I've been watching Dr. Disrespect on Twitch and he showed where the Lobby had some players with Controller icons next to their name. I think he said they were on PS4.

There was live gameplay, but the new types kept crashing ( the 10v10 and the 20v20).

The 20v20 was consoles and pc players playing together. The 2v2 matches had cross plat going too and was stable.

KBM has speed of aiming and moving advantage over controller, but controller still gets aim assist advantage.

edit: i really like how this game looks.

they said it is a new engine now too, finally.

I feel like cheaters are going to be a problem tho.

Next gen games will have their files separated in a way that let's you uninstall parts of the game you dont use like single player or special modes. Should hopefully save on space, especially in games like these.

That was already a thing in some of the older CoD games, or at least Black Ops 2 (only one I own on PC), each mode was a separate download.

And you can do it manually with a lot of games if you know what you're doing.
