Fan made "The Road So Far..." that I came across, pretty good, wonder how it will compare to the real thing tonight. It says season 6 Road So Far...but it's just named wrong I think, as it features clips from last season, and isn't the opening recap from last season as the name might imply.

Taking bets on opening song for this season, will it be Journey "The Wheel in the Sky" or Kansas "Carry on my Wayward Son" like previous seasons, or might it be The Who "We Won't Get Fooled Again" since it has the phrase in it's lyrics that is the name of tonight's episode "Meet The New Boss" or will it be a different song, like for the start of season five they used "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

I can't wait to watch it!

Tonights episode sounds like its gonna be good. From what I read, Sam and Dean try to Bind Death to help them with the whole Castiel problem, but Castiel is on to it and either tips death about it or helps him escape the bind. Either way, Death gets pissed with Sam and Dean

So Misha has now played 5 different people in the same body?
Human, Castiel, himself, "God", now Leviathan. Then you have 3 different Castiels. Normal angel-doubting rogue angel, disciplined Castiel on the side of the angels, and Future hippie Castiel.

Ok, I've been purposely not looking up information on this season, so when Sam saw Satan in his hallucination, I thought for a split second that TPTB were going to make season 6 all have been in Sam's head, and to be honest, I think I might have preferred that...

Quality episode, was surprised to see Lucifer back, but damn did I miss seeing him. Mark Pellegrino plays him so awesome. Gonna be an interesting season no doubt.

is it just me or did it seem kinda quick to do what they did with Sam near the end of this episode? Seems like they should have built a bit more on the Castiel story line and waiting til like episode 4 or 5 before dealing with Sam

I personally was hoping for more Sam centric story anyway and him dealing with the mind wall holding back his time in Hell coming down, didn't think they would jump right into it but have no issues with them doing so.

I'm glad they're trying to get it out the way quickly. Would have been shitty if they dragged it along with him constantly seeing hallucinations and him and Dean constantly falling out because of it. As much as I love this show, it goes straight down the shitter when they start arguing with eachother. And that's all these hallucinations would lead to.

I see your point. It just seems the last few seasons (especially season 5 near the end with the horsemen rings) that the producers seem to go "Oh shit we have 3 storylines to wrap up and only 2 episodes to do it" and end up rushing things. I guess the way to circumvent that is to get them over early

Something that I thought was really awesome is the mandate the writers got for this year. For those that fast-forwarded past it or watched a rip, the writers were told going into the season that everything they did this year had to be based on something in the past. They want to do a monster? It has to be very closely tied to actual legends. Casting a spell? Better be very closely tied to an actual spell. Nothing this season is allowed to be 'made' up.
