    huh? absurdness

Why do nin monsters in ffxi never dual wield? besides the 1Hume AA...
Did you know you can mistype /clock on as /clock om and it still works the same?
In school i was taught that BC/AD meant before christ/after death of christ, but it puzzles me that the whole word would number their years according to jesus christ since i though they don't all believe in him....

    AD means Anno Domini fool.

And people don't always use AD, many people use CE which means "common era"

yea but then it would do /clock and either turn it off or on, not leave it on like /on /om would

There are some fomor that dual wield, I believe.

/clock just toggles the display on and off, so it doesn't matter what you say after it if you mistype it.

AD means Anno Domini, and many countries use the Gregorian Calendar for uniformity rather than because they believe in Christ. Usually because some leader conquered and unified people and said "Hey, we're going to use this system and fit in with the rest of the world."

yes but /clock om won't toggle it, it leaves it on like /clock on would too
that is kinda what i was looking for about the AD, like where it came from.

many other countries have their own calenders they go by based on whatever significant secular event they observe .. also some countries go based on their own religious calanders as well...
so i dont know where you're getting your information from

also.. i usually do /clock ok to keep the clock from disappearing.. you can do /clock qiehipqweiwp and still works to show you the time without turning it off

You can also target something and do /ra agkhsdfkh and it'll throw your bomb core at it. It will error out if you don't put that text though.

lol.. well.. since the topic is obviously random, ADD/ADHD influenced topics of no reasonable interest...

Ever looked at the belt on a Haubergeon? Evil skull-face guy on that.

Ever watched the child Tarutaru NPC in Windurst Waters ( near the cooking guild ) that falls through the wooden boardwalk?

Ever counted the number of times in an hour, that the errand boy NPC in Southern San'Doria delivers supplies to the NPC in the grocery store?

lol... ADD is a hellova diagnoisis at times...

can we award Omni a point and lock this thread? it was over from this moment of genius onward

Tonberry can't dual wield because they need to hold their lanterns. Yagudo NIN I assume were around before the NIN job class was in the game, so Dual Wield's level and effects may not have been worked out.

The whole world doesn't use BC/AD. I know for official business, Japan still uses a calendar based on the reigning periods of their emperors. The Chinese have their own as well (Year of Dog, Year of Monkey, etc), which you should know if you've eaten Chinese food even once.

The real absurdness is that this topic has lived for almost 2 hrs now.
