    UFC® 82: PRIDE OF A CHAMPION

Anderson Silva (20-4-0) Vs. Dan Henderson (22-6-0)

Heath Herring (27-13-1) Vs. Cheick Kongo (21-3-1)

Alessio Sakara (16-6-1) Vs. Chris Leben (17-4-0)

Yushin Okami (22-4-0) Vs. Evan Tanner (34-6-0)

Chris Wilson (12-3-1) Vs. Jon Fitch (20-2-1)

    Jake O'Brien (10-0-0) Vs. Andrei Arlovski (13-5-0)

Luigi Fioravanti (12-3-0) Vs. Luke Cummo (9-4-0)

Dustin Hazelett (12-3-0) Vs. Josh Koscheck (11-2-0)

David Bielkheden (12-5-0) Vs. Diego Sanchez (19-2-0)

John Halverson (16-5-0) Vs. Jorge Gurgel (14-3-0)

Dan versus Anderson is going to be one great fight. I'm rooting for the underdog in this one (if you can believe that Anderson Silva is an underdog). He's been training with some college to better his wrestling skills, which I think will help him out to beat Hollywood Henderson.

As for Cheick Kongo, I believe that he's probably going to win a very unanimous decision, or a late KO. After this win, I wouldn't be surprised if he got a title shot.

Yushin against Tanner is a sad one for me, because I like both fighters. However, I think that Okami is the more skilled fighter, and he's been training while Tanner has been getting over being an alcoholic, which gives the definite edge to Yushin.

Arlovski and O'Brien should be a one sided fight in favor of Arlovski. I think he'll be his old aggressive self and come out with a first round KO.

I dislike both Kos and Diego, though I think they'll win, but hope they lose.

Jon Fitch should have no problems with Chris. After this fight is won by Fitch, a title shot might be next, or one more fight but with maybe Karo.

Silva, Kongo, Arlovski, Fitch, Diego, Koscheck, Okami.

Silva vs Hendo fight has had me flopping back and forth on who I am picking. Silva has just looked too dominant in his fights but he hasn't fought anyone close to Hendo. I think Hendo would take it if he went the boring lay n pray route but I don't see him doing that so it's really hard to call.

I'm pretty surprised Tanner was given such a hard fight for his first fight back. It would be pretty bad for his career if he loses anything but a close fight.

Forrest Griffin (Ultimate Fighter 1 L. Heavyweight Winner)? He's actually coaching TUF7 with Rampage Jackson, and they'll fight for the LH title after the season airs, so we probably won't see him fight for a while.

    Re: UFC® 82: PRIDE OF A CHAMPION

Oh that's right. I forgot he was coaching this season. That would probably be the upset of the year if he was able to take down Rampage. Which as much as I like Forrest, I don't think it's going to happen unless he's able to get Rampage down on the ground very quickly in the match.

i'm really looking forward to seeing hendo v. silva...card is stacked all the way through. i think hendo will come away with a win, despite my better judgement. i like o'brien via lay and pray...kos by the same. diego by sub in the first. halverson by sub in the 2nd. okami, sakura, and herring by stoppage.
