FINAL FANTASY XI Development Team (2/2/2005)

Search comments are currently divided into four categories: EXP party, Mission/Quest, Item-related, and Others. We are planning to expand the number of categories available, and create subcategories such as Seek Party and Find Member to allow for more specific comments and searches. In addition, a new text command will make it possible to set search comments using a macro. These features are scheduled for the February version update.

I think that's what they're saying this new feature is. You can save it to a macro, so when you wanna seek just hit your "seek" macro.

i really like hearing from square every few days about what's going to be forthcoming. any guesses as to why they keep doing this though? my best guess is new mmo's are starting to rape their NA fanbase so they actually have to care about them now

A seek macro? Well that sucks. Me thinks we're gonna see alot more NA go JP ONRI with japanese search comments thanks to macro editers, and that'll piss the JP off to no end. XD

What i wana see is the ability to be seeking for party on more then one job. that would be really nice.

you could pick the job that you are seeking for and write a comment that is seperate.
