Help with identifying a musical theme

I was watching the Pink Panther recently when I noticed that one theme that I've heard in so many places before. It's practically synonymous with love themes and I seem to distinctly remember it being in the movie Airplane! as well (or one of those saturation comedies). Anyway, I recorded the segment the theme comes up during from my DVD player. Please excuse the poor quality of the file.

Yes, I know, it's Geocities, but I don't know of where else to put it. If someone can suggest a better free service I can put it at, just post here so I can use that instead.

Maybe you can try going to amazon.com, look up the soundtracks to Airplane (if there is one) or Pink Panther, see if you can find it there?

Already tried. It isn't on the Pink Panther soundtrack CD, Airplane! doesn't even have a soundtrack, and neither list it in their credits.

It's Tchaikovsky love theme from Romeo and Juliet.

Yes, that is a variation on a theme in the Romeo and Juliet Overture by Peter Tchaikovsky, the 1880 verison. The rest of it is pretty good to, but in typical Tchaikovsky fashion, what you hear there is a tiny portion of the whole piece and the rest of it has nothing to do with the good part. You probably won't like it if you're not already a Tchaikovsky fan.
