I can't call myself a fan of any of that cast, but the presentation is gorgeous and the concept is really strong. I've got high hopes.

Yeah, all I could think about when watching that trailer is what kind of hoops they had to jump through in order to secure all the rights of all of those video game characters.

Looks cool though. I'll have to ask my brother about it hes doing visual effects for it.

Best part of the trailer was the video game villains. Not sure how I feel about the plot though. Almost turned the volume down because of the god-awful music in the trailer....

I'm sure Disney had the upper hand all the way through. Capcom's always been really lax about their IPs (Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Street Fighter x Tekken, etc.); and I'm sure Nintendo, Sega, et. al. jumped at the chance at their iconic villains being in a featured Disney animated movie.

It's sound business all around.

This might sound kind of silly, but I kind of like the "Disneyfied" Zangief. It's definitely not as ruff and gruff as the original, but he actually has some visual appeal compared to his Street Fighter IV model if you know what I mean!
