So uhh.. somebody help me out here.

What does "Live a Live" mean? Is there a protagonist or person named Live? Is there a macguffin or a story thread that has to do with "Live"?

What's up with the name? Is it just random "English words sound cool!", or is there a meaning behind the name?

I don't mind spoilers, so spoil me up, if that what it takes.

When you pronounce it it should sound like Live alive, so maybe something like live fully? The logo is also stylised so it can be read as Live a Evil, but I dunno anything about the story of the game to know if there's a specific meaning to that.

As someone who played the original (although not 100%, don't actually remember how much I did because it was very long ago) I'm feeling like this game is being overhyped a lot in the media and might disappoint a lot of people, considering the asking price. I checked out the demo and while there are some QoLs, it is a very retro game with quite simple mechanics and afair the scenarios are very uneven story or depth wise.

But we'll see, I'm really interested how it turns out.

For all; If you LIKED Live a Live before, you'll love this remake. I don't think this'll change any minds if you didn't play it before; for those that never heard of it, I recomend; Play the demo, go find the unofficial translation first to see if this game is for you. There are some changes like the healing items in the Western chapter are no longer cigars and booze but it's a VERY good version in my mind (this is said by someone on the last chara (Cube) before the final chara and the end). Think of it like a lot of bite size RPGs with the same system bundled into one and you'll get it.

I couldn't say no to this one because I have a habit of paying for what I like if I played it unofficially in any way (like it got a fan translation that I got to play) before the official release. I figure that's how to get more since it tells the company there's people that like this!
