Its been been ten years, and I'm sure these topics were prevelant immediately during/after 9/11, but its been ten years and we've all changed in un-countable ways.

I never heard this topic come up. Then again I was 14 when it happened so just outside of the "deep existential questions" phase of my life.

I don't think I'd be able to answer until it happened, but I'd probably do whatever I could to have any glimmer of hope of getting out, IE running through some amount of fire to potential safety/escape. I'd rather die trying than just flat out die, seems foolish to not give it everything you have.

Agreed. I'd do my damnedest to jerryrig some sort of contraption to slow my fall and go for it. Imagine the fucking pussy you'd get if you survived a jump from the 60th floor of a skyscraper.

Was just discussing this with a coworker the other day. I'm not a quitter -- I'd burn Could not imagine myself making that final decision to actually be able to jump and end it. I'd be the person clinging to the piece of debris out the window hoping for a rescue or some kind of miracle.

It's nice and simple for us to sit here and contemplate the decision. I mean I'd like to say I'd rig up some parachute or I'd just hold my breath, grit my teeth and sprint down a few floors.. but I really just don't know. Some shots there are just tons of people all leaning out the windows and grasping on to whatever; I bet just one step interior to the building it was just smoldering and completely unbearable. I'd probably just wait and hope to be rescued somehow.. and then get crushed into nothingness. >.>; Man, such a fucked up predicament.
