I just did a meeble burrows run...

Completing goal 3 says 2k marks and xp...but I dont think we got any xp, and we only got 1500 marks.

Even talking to the galka confirms the 1500.

Did something bug, or did SE nerf the rewards from what was on the test server? I also dont think we got any xp from the reward: my mnk mule was capped merits (I didnt think to check if she was capped xp, but I did use 24 merits, and she didnt get any and is capped merits, but was getting experience points off the mobs)

It's not a bug. I never updated it, but all of the numbers I had originally put in were for three people. I need to go and do that, I'll fix it tonight.

Until then, just so you know, I'm fairly certain it's exactly proportional to the number of people you go with. Best way to think of it is that completing that expedition gives you 6,000 research marks, and divides it by the number of people. 1000 each for 6, 1333 for 5, 1500 for 4, 2000 for 3 (with all three goals completed). I assume you went with four if that was the party you went with, which would explain the 1500. I'd like a couple more data points to really confirm this, but I'm essentially positive that's how it works already.

I'm pretty sure they were giving equivalent EXP and research marks on the test server, maybe they took the EXP reward away?

Wasnt aware reward gets split, probably cause I just read off the mission page lol. Someone else can verify the xp, or i'll check tomorrow when I go again.

I never put that anywhere on the wiki so it wasn't something you missed. It wasn't something I figured out until relatively recently. I tested almost all of the expeditions solo so I only ever got the normal marks amount for three people. I saw some posts where people were trying the boss battles with larger groups of four and I figured it out based on that, but I was waiting til it was added to the real server for confirmation.

Went with 6 and got 1500 so it's not exactly as you say.

I'm guessing that wasn't Adjunct rank. Was it... Associate Researcher? Would still line up with my tests if it was.

Did adjunct expedition #1, the worm/crab/leech kill all expedition with 3 people and we each got 2k Marks and only exp we got was from killing the mobs.

Just did a run and we all entered then 4 of us got immediately kicked out.

Just did this too and 3 out of 5 of us got kicked out and lost KI (all our mages too no less).

3rd goal was 18 mobs
17 mobs up in the zone
1 mob needed to be fished up
??? at the pool where mob needed to be fished. (thank god or I wouldn't have even thought about it)
5ppl entered. reward 1800marks

Updated Research Marks table on Meeble Burrows page with the correct information:

I need to update the templates to the correct information is also reflected on the expedition pages, but for now the link above should show the correct number of marks for each expedition. The total number of marks is divided equally by the number of players. So if three players complete an expedition with goal 3, they will receive twice as many marks each as a group of 6 players who complete the same expedition at goal 3.

What rank? How many goals completed?

For what it's worth we did Associate 1 as a 4, cleared all 18 mobs and we got 2250. That tallies up with the 3000 marks for 3 currently on the wiki (i.e. 9000 / number who enter)

Marks thing is more complicated than I thought. The info I put works for many of the expeditions, but not all of them. We split into two groups fo three for Assistant Expedition 2, one of us completed goal 3 and got 1666 RM (expected 2333), others completed goal 2 and got 866 RM (expected 1666). Might be expedition-specific marks, not just rank specific.

So we can get accurate marks listings for the expedition, it would be helpful if after you complete an expedition you post here with the number of people you had, the number of goals completed, the rank and number of the expedition, and the number of marks you received.
