In my search for resources to help me find some good Aion info I've ran into a few nice websites. And so I thought I'd post the useful links that have helped me get up to speed on Aion and see what others can come up with.

The official site everyone knows about. Not as helpful as it strictly could be.

AionArmory - Aion Database
Appears to be the most useful and best known Aion site. Features an extensive list of items, equipment, and a forum.

Aion Maps v 1.00 Live
This website pinpoints the locations of all gathering/aether extraction points by type/level and more.

[Translation] Artifacts - HellBound - Aion Gaming Guild and Community
One Legions forum thread explaining Artifacts and their unique abilities.

Aion Fly - Aion news, guides and opinions
Features many articles and guides covering aspects of Aion

Flying Bishounen
A player's blog that has a lot of good info particularly for Templar.

Impetusium - Thulf's Aion Blog
A player's blog with some well written info and reasonable maps.

I can't stand armory, Aion Database is a lot better imo. Its basically a translation of the korean powerwiki with western formatting. (Plus all the 3d models work :D)

I'm wishing that some of the Aion sites would update a little faster. I find myself needing both database and armory just to get sufficient quest info sometimes. Which means I have to open several tabs and spend time digging through both their info. For example database is pretty great for comparing gear, but their quests usually have no info. However they do display when a quest is part of a series. Database doesn't but it does list all the steps involved in completing the quest.

There's like 5 Aion wikis, none of which seem to have any info beyond the bare essentials.

Edit: Also an important note. Aion Database doesn't seem to utilize the map of the upper abyss for some reason. And so when you check to see where an npc is it will show it in the lower abyss even though it's really in upper. This led me to several "wtf" moments until I used the games /where command.

Is the sniffer on aionwh safe to use? I support research in this way, but I'm a little worried when it requires you to start the program before you log into the game.

Nota: if you are afraid of password stealing, you can start aws
after you logged in, but before you select your server .

Unfortunately Aion Armory is often missing information on stuff when i'm looking for info. But, it's a good starting point.
